Thanks for visiting my portfolio site!  I designed edcin.com in 2001 and adjust it periodically. For my company site please visit edcinART.com.  The name "edcin" was created in 1998 when I moved to Edmonton and became 'Edmonton Cindy'.  At that time, I didn't know how to turn on a computer but had always been intrigued by them from the day my father, who was an electrical engineer, first brought one home.

  I was born in small town Ontario but moved to Montreal for my teen years. I graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada's Acting Program but shortly found myself too fragile for an acting career. So, back to Ontario to continue my education in the Animation Program at Sheridan College where I could pursue my 1st love of drawing . . . not just drawing, but drawings that moved! Thinking that I could draw anyways and deaf to the pleading of my drawing instructor, I switched to the Technical Program. I thought this would seguay into computers where I wanted to go. Looking back now, I suppose my choices might have been foolish, but I think I'm a rather remarkable and fine individual.
